Grocery BingoChatham Square field was PACKED with glowsticks and Program Participants on March 3rd's Grocery BINGO Game - so much that facilitators actually ran out of BINGO cards and a crowd formed to wait for winners - who have to give up their cards - so that new participants could play. GraduationOn December 10-12, program participants had their graduation celebration at Mickey's Retreat. Participants enjoyed free food, caricature drawings, battle boat races, taking pictures with Disney characters and getting their certificates and Mickey ears. The event was a great way for participants to spend time with the friends they have made on the program. |

County FairOn October 22, the Chatham Square Field was transformed into fair grounds. Program participants visited the different tents where they had a balloon artist, stilt walkers, a fortune teller, dunk tank and more! Cast Members went bobbing for apples, had sack races, pie eating contests and fought to become the tug-of-war champion. |

Siesta Key Beach TripOn Oct. 9, Program Participants took a trip to the beach! Famous for its fine white sand and warm waters, Siesta Key has been attracting visitors for years. Participants enjoyed a day of relaxation and fun in the sun. |

"So You Think You Can Cook" CompetitionOn Oct. 2, Program participants competed to be named the Programs' Top Chefs. The cooks were given the ingredients, but they had to create the entrée. Guest judges were Walt Disney World chefs. The four winning teams from each round were Team L'avenir, Solo Me, Casablanca and Team Carb. Congratulations to all of the winners.Outside of the Vista Way Pavilion Cast Members were decorating cupcakes, having cupcake eating contests and sneaking peaks to see what the cooks were preparing. |

Patriotic Pool PartyOn May 29, more than 1300 Program Cast Members came out to the Vista Way pool to enjoy our final welcome pool party. Everything was decorated in red, white and blue to go along with the patriotic theme, and Cast Members were able to meet new friends while snacking on ice cream and pizza. This pool party coincided with a Disney Difference expo, which gave our Cast the opportunity to network with leaders and learn about different resources available to them during their program. |
Villains & Princesses Pool PartyCast Members enjoyed another pool party on May 24 at Vista Way, this time with a Villains and Princesses theme. Snow White and the Snow Queen were on hand for pictures, and there was plenty of pizza, beverages and plastic snakes and wands to enjoy! The DJ organized contests and awarded College Program towels and boxer shorts to the winners. |

Belated Chinese New Year's Pool PartyCast Members were able to ring in the Chinese New Year at our Belated Chinese New Year Pool Party at Chatham Square on May 22. There was tons of dancing, games and great giveaways, and Mulan and Mushu even made an appearance! |
Un-Birthday Pool PartyOur second pool party was held at Chatham Square on May 17, where we celebrated everyone's Un-Birthday! The Mad Hatter, Alice and the White Rabbit were on hand for pictures, and Cast Members enjoyed eating pizza and decorating their own cookies. Prizes were given away and the DJ organized fun games of hula hoops, limbo and more. |

`80s Pool PartyThe May 15 `80s Pool Party was the first in a series of welcome events for our new arrivals. Cast Members gathered at the Vista Way Pool for swimming, eating and hanging out with friends. Great tunes from the `80s could be heard all evening long, and Cast Members played trivia and competed in a dance-off for Housing prizes. Beach Goofy and `80s Minnie Mouse were even there for photo opportunities! |
