Roles

Merchandise job duties may include:

  • Greeting and interacting with Guests while promoting the participant's cultural heritage
  • Demonstrating and selling pavilion merchandise in indoor and outdoor areas
  • Operating a computerized cash register
  • Setting up, stocking and cleaning shelves and carts
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the shops

Kidcot Fun Stops

The Kidcot Fun Stops appear in all of the pavilions around World Showcase at Epcot® and serve as a platform for cultural interaction with children.

Kidcot Fun Stops duties may include:

  • Greeting and interacting with Guests while promoting the participant's cultural heritage
  • Organizing craft projects for children
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the Kidcot Fun Stops area and pavilion
  • Interacting and engaging in cultural activities
  • Language exchange

Food and Beverage duties may include:

  • Greeting and interacting with Guests while promoting the participant's cultural heritage
  • Selling food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, at outdoor carts
  • Escorting Guests to tables in the restaurant
  • Using a computerized cash register and reservation system
  • Taking Guests' orders and serving food
  • Setting, stocking and cleaning tables, carts and restaurant
  • Emptying trash cans

Historical Research Center, Inc.

Historical Research Center, Inc. (HRC) an Operating Participant at the Walt Disney World® Resort, operates the Heraldry/Merchandise shop at the United Kingdom Pavilion. Working in this area, participants would be an employee of HRC, an independent company, but would still be a participant of the Disney International Programs.

  • Operating a computerized cash register
  • Setting up, stocking and cleaning shelves and carts
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the shops
