This unique 12-month program offers friendly, outgoing,
hospitality-oriented individuals from Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa,
Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe opportunity to represent the cultures and
traditions of their countries while interacting with Guests from all over the
world. Participants hired as Cultural Representatives from these countries will
work at either Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park or Disney's
Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park opened on April
22, 1998, and is a unique nature-adventure park. It combines close encounters
with live animals of all kinds, prehistoric dinosaurs, legendary creatures and
animated stars of Disney classic films. The theme park contains six themed
lands, including The Oasis, Camp Minnie-Mickey, the Discovery
Island® Area, the DinoLand U.S.A.® Area, and the continents
of Africa and Asia.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is inspired by the
cultural splendor and exotic beauty of a South African game reserve. The
1,293-room, six-story deluxe resort features hand-carved furnishings, a mud
fireplace in the lobby and views of a 33-acre tropical savanna filled with
free-roaming animals.
